Lisa brings over two decades of experience in crafting exquisite, elegant, and stylish custom wedding cakes, specialising in luxury wedding cakes adorned with handmade sugar flowers. From the first inquiry to the consultation, design, delivery, and setup of your wedding cake, Lisa is committed to providing the highest level of personal customer service.
Lisa’s passion for baking began in her childhood when she would bake cakes for tea on Sundays. Excelling in arts and crafts at school, she still cherishes the classic Victoria Sponge, a testament to her early baking days. In 1992, after identifying a significant gap in the cake decorating and wedding market, Lisa opened a cake decorating shop offering wedding services. After a decade in retail, she realised her true passion lay in baking and designing cakes. She sold the shop and, with the help of her husband, transformed their home office into a “cake room” and began offering a bespoke wedding cake service. Thus, Wedding Cakes by Lisa was born.
At Wedding Cakes by Lisa, all my cakes are freshly made to order using the finest ingredients to ensure that your cake is not only visually stunning but also delectably tasty. I hope my wedding cake designs will spark your imagination, and I eagerly anticipate collaborating with you to bring the wedding cake of your dreams to life.
PRICING
Each of my cakes is uniquely crafted and tailored to the specific preferences of each couple. The cost, therefore, varies accordingly. Factors influencing the price include the size of the cake, the complexity and detail of the design, the number of sugar flowers, the chosen flavours, and the logistics involved in delivery and set up.
My minimum order value is £750 (not including delivery & set up), if you choose a wedding cake under this value, you can add sweet treat favours to reach the minimum spend.
Here are some average prices:
- 2 tier cake (71 portions. 1 flavour): £500 – £900 on average
- 3 tier cake (113 portions, 2 flavours): £650 – £1100 on average
- 4 tier cake (148 portions, 3 flavours): £1000 – £1650 on average
- 5 tier cake (260 portions, 4 flavours): £1400+ on average
